Haekyong Visneski
Haekyong's path to becoming a massage therapist is as rich and diverse as the techniques she employs. Born and raised in Incheon city, Korea, her initial encounter with massage came through her grandfather, who taught her the traditional Korean anmma and the art of acupressure. These early experiences ignited a lifelong passion for healing through touch, a passion that would eventually lead her to pursue a career in massage therapy.
After moving to America in 2000, Haekyong's desire to heal and help others resurfaced during a yoga teacher training program. Inspired by her yoga instructor, who was also a licensed massage therapist, Haekyong embarked on a profound educational journey. She completed her massage education and licensure exam in 2015 and realized that to truly master her craft, she needed more than just the basics.
Determined to offer her clients the best care possible, Haekyong invested her first two years of earnings in advanced training. She has since acquired certifications in Medical Massage Therapy, Thai Yoga Massage, Master Myoskeletal Therapy (MMT), Myofascial Release, and a plethora of other specialized techniques, including Sound Healing Therapies from various cultural traditions. Her commitment to learning took her all the way to Thailand, where she deepened her knowledge of Thai massage through intensive training.
At Intense Lotus Massage, Haekyong brings together her extensive training and personal philosophy of healing to offer a range of services that cater to the whole person. Our massage therapies, including Wellness Deep Tissue, Thai Yoga Massage, and Ashiatsu, are designed to address a wide array of needs, from pain management to relaxation and improved mobility.
In addition to traditional massage therapies, Haekyong has embraced the healing power of sound. Our Sound Healing Therapy sessions utilize Tibetan bowls, crystal bowls, and other instruments to promote mental clarity, emotional balance, and a deep sense of peace. Each session is tailored to the individual, ensuring a unique and deeply personal experience.
